Jure Kastelic: Cathedral and Bazaar

In October 2024, Jure Kastelic held his first solo exhibition ‘Musical Chairs’ with Carl Kostyál in Milan. Now returning for his second show in London, Kastelic delves deeper into the dynamics of contrasting forces that influence our lives, desires, and the value we assign to objects. His work fundamentally questions what is deemed valuable in a world where significance seems increasingly diluted. By integrating both analogue and digital inspirations—ranging from online communities to classical art and economic theories—Kastelic creates surreal, dreamlike visuals that encapsulate the complexities of life within a late capitalist context.
