Saint Laurent Dives Into The Culinary Experience with Sushi Park Paris

Saint Laurent has evolved beyond just fashion design; it now embodies a cultural influencer, film producer, and recently, a culinary venture. Following their 2022 collaboration, creative director Anthony Vaccarello and Sushi Park’s chef Peter Park are launching an immersive shopping and dining experience in Paris.

This new venture, favored by stars like Justin Bieber and the Kardashians, marks Sushi Park’s inaugural permanent location outside its Los Angeles base. The restaurant will debut on February 21 at the revamped Saint Laurent RIVE DROITE boutique, situated in Paris’s first arrondissement, near the Tuileries and Place Vendôme. As part of the brand’s ongoing renovations, last February also saw the opening of a bookstore and gallery, BABYLONE, curated by Vaccarello.

To celebrate this collaboration, a short film was released over the weekend, directed by Pierre-Ange Carlotti. The film features well-known celebrities and brand ambassadors, including Lourdes Leon and Saint Levant, showcasing the unique design of the new space with its dark, sculptural furniture and exclusive ceramics designed by Professor Kim.

This film is part of Saint Laurent Productions, established in 2023, which has worked with directors like David Cronenberg and Paolo Sorrentino, and co-produced Jacques Audiard’s Oscar-nominated film Emilia Perez.

The Sushi Park initiative and BABYLONE reflect the brand’s ambition to enhance the shopping experience. This trend of merging culinary and literary arts is not new; other luxury brands like Jacquemus and Gucci have similarly ventured into these realms, creating unique experiences for consumers seeking more than traditional retail.

Sushi Park Paris at RIVE DROITE will operate from February 21, open Tuesday to Saturday. Reservations can be made via phone, email, or online at Sushi Park Paris.
