We’ve entered an age of disorder. Join us for a multimedia presentation on visual and consumer culture, media, and global instability.
Sight of Conflict is an intimate multimedia presentation exploring how visual and consumer culture reflect the instability of the world around us. Through a fast-moving visual essay, academic reading, and open discussion, we’ll look at how fashion, branding, media, typography, and art become places where power and conflict are made visible.
Interested in fashion history, communications, design, art theory and consumer culture? This is for designers, artists, students, researchers, writers, creative professionals, and curious people interested in how images shape the way we understand the present. We’ll be leveraging interdisciplinary research from fields like sociology, humanities and more to better understand the age of disorder.
- Academic in nature, drawing from interdisciplinary research across sociology, communications, art history, economics, and more
- Doors open with informal conversation before the presentation. A guided discussion follows the reading.
- Oriented towards creative professionals, researchers, the curious, and students of all domains

We strive for excellence in sales. All of our customers are protected with a full-refund warranty in the event of a negative shopping experience.
