While the glamorous cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills takes a break from filming, Bozoma St. John is busy empowering young corporate women worldwide. Her Badass Workshop Global Tour included cities like Lagos, London, Toronto, New York, and Atlanta, coinciding with National Women’s History Month. At each location, Bozoma shared insights about the housewives and the upcoming reunion. “I initiated these workshops during my time at Netflix amid COVID. It started simply with me and my computer, discussing business, and it evolved from there.” This journey made her a perfect fit for the franchise, and she believes the show needs more individuals like her.
Bozoma St. John: The Missing Element in ‘RHOBH’

Bozoma’s decision to join a cast known for their marital histories rather than business acumen drew immediate criticism from peers. Many questioned why she would leave her successful career for reality TV drama. “They said I had a fabulous career. Why engage in conflict with wealthy women? But I saw a larger opportunity. I thought, why not? Perhaps they need more corporate baddies and self-made women on this platform. I believe they do,” she stated confidently. When an audience member mentioned Sutton, Bozoma playfully responded, “Say her name!” adding a humorous twist to the moment while subtly hinting at her disapproval of her co-star.
Bozoma Avoids Commenting on Garcelle’s Departure
Fans speculated that Bozoma would bond with Garcelle Beauvais given they are the only women of color on the show. However, Bozoma dismissed this notion as absurd. “Of course people assume that since we are the only Black women on the show, we must either fight or become best friends. Both notions are silly. We are women with diverse backgrounds, just like the others. I refuse to let others’ expectations dictate my actions.” Instead of forming a close friendship with Garcelle, Bozoma found camaraderie with Dorit Kemsley, and they have cultivated a wonderful friendship this season.
Andy Cohen witnessed Bozoma’s straightforward nature firsthand during an episode of Watch What Happens Live shortly after Garcelle’s exit became public. When Andy tried to prompt the women for their thoughts on her departure, both Bozoma and Erika Jayne feigned innocence, avoiding the topic entirely. Known for her boldness, Bozoma made it clear she wouldn’t be drawn into discussing it.
Bozoma Embodies Black Girl Magic on ‘RHOBH’

Before joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Bozoma had an impressive career with a background in leading roles at major corporations like Apple, Starbucks, Uber, and Netflix. After losing her husband to cancer in 2013, she chose to pivot her career instead of dwelling on her grief. She took on a role with Dr. Dre on the Beats by Dre deal with Apple Music. Bozoma’s ability to adapt and take unexpected paths has been crucial to her success and rise to fame.
When she was invited to join the show, she envisioned a unique opportunity to reach a different audience and create more possibilities. “I make it a point to wear African American designers from head to toe while filming. This provides them with much-needed visibility on a national stage and allows me to give back to my community.” She plans to make a statement at the upcoming RHOBH reunion, teasing, “Who am I wearing for the reunion? I’m wearing kente from royalty. It’s been around long before Dior. In fact, check where Dior sources their patterns, and it leads back to the continent…to royalty. So at the reunion, while everyone poses in their labels, they will refer to me as Bozoma in kente royalty.”
