Since Benny Blanco listed his New York City condo for nearly $4 million a year ago, he has become engaged and released a collaborative album with Selena Gomez. The couple also purchased a $35 million mansion in Beverly Hills. Although they have not yet married, Blanco appears to be embracing his new life as he transitions into this new chapter, especially now that he has sold his New York bachelor pad, as reported by Robb Report. His loft-style three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo sold for $3.6 million, having been purchased for $3.45 million in 2011.
The 2,200-square-foot corner unit is located on the sixth floor of the Chelsea Mercantile building, a 19-story luxury condominium that features amenities such as a full gym, garage parking, an expansive roof deck, and 24-hour doorman and concierge services. Blanco’s former residence boasts an open floor plan, where a compact all-white kitchen with a breakfast bar merges with spacious living and dining areas.
At one end of the apartment, a bedroom is configured as a music studio, adorned with overlapping kilim rugs that reflect Blanco’s eclectic style: “I’m not afraid to be a grandmother and have patterns everywhere,” he shared with AD last year. “I don’t mind a clash.” The primary suite, located on the opposite side of the great room, features floating shelves displaying Blanco’s awards, a dressing room, and a bathroom finished with jet black tiles.
In addition to his new home with Gomez, Blanco also owns a vibrant estate in Hollywood Hills that he described as “a dinner party house.” Meanwhile, Gomez has acquired a custom-designed property in Encino that was previously owned by Tom Petty.
