Architecture firm Imaginary Objects has unveiled images of a compact cabin for children in Chonburi, Thailand, influenced by the essence of a treehouse.

Located adjacent to their parents’ RV, this open cabin promotes simplicity, nature, and playfulness.

The lightweight teak structure draws inspiration from traditional Thai architecture.

Access to the cabin is provided by stairs, with features like the steps, ladder, and bathroom door designed specifically for children.

The cabin includes two compact bedrooms, a shared bathroom, and an open-air deck that serves as a communal living area, merging indoor and outdoor spaces.

A dining and workshop table extends from the deck into the fields.

The design encourages a strong connection with nature, as the bedroom windows can fully open, allowing the interior to blend with the surroundings.

A large sink in the common area allows children to clean their outdoor finds or engage in creative activities, while the bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet.

At night, the lighting accentuates the cabin’s roof design.

Here are the architectural drawings for the cabin.
