In the teaser for Verity, Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett portray characters who meet at a club and quickly fall in love. Verity, played by Hathaway, suffers from a mysterious illness that leaves her bedridden. Jeremy, portrayed by Hartnett, invites another writer, Lowen (Johnson), to complete Verity’s book series. As the story unfolds, a passionate affair ignites between Jeremy and Lowen, complicating their lives. The teaser concluded, leaving viewers uncertain about the true antagonist of the film.
