If each wholesale account needs its own prices, Shopify B2B pricing in Canada starts at $3,650 CAD a month. That’s Shopify Plus on a one-year term, per Shopify’s Canadian Plus pricing page (checked September 25, 2026). Cheaper plans include B2B too, with just three shared price lists.
Syndicate builds wholesale fashion suppliers and distributors their own online stores, so we have a stake in what you choose. Shopify’s prices below come straight from Shopify’s own pages.
Why do fashion brands end up looking at Shopify Plus?
It usually starts with prices. A boutique buys at one price, a department store at another, a distributor at a third. Maybe each of them gets their own PDF. Or maybe you already use a wholesale platform like Brandboom, or a fashion system like ApparelMagic, to send line sheets and take orders.
Either way, you end up wanting the same thing: a store where each account logs in and sees its own prices. On Shopify, that’s Plus.
What does Shopify Plus cost in Canada?
$3,650 CAD a month on a one-year term, or $3,400 a month if you sign for three years. You can’t pay month to month, and Shopify’s Canadian pricing FAQ says you can cancel when your term is up.
| Term | Per month | Per year | Over 5 years |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1-year term | $3,650 | $43,800 | $219,000 |
| 3-year term | $3,400 | $40,800 | $204,000 |
Bigger brands can pay more. Shopify’s Plus pricing page says higher-volume businesses move to a variable fee based on revenue, set with its sales team. So treat $3,650 as the starting point.
Shopify’s regular plans ($37, $99 or $389 a month, billed yearly) also include B2B. The catch is that you get up to three price lists, shared by groups of buyers. Giving one specific account its own prices is Plus-only, according to Shopify’s B2B features by plan. Our guide to Shopify B2B without Plus shows what three price lists can and can’t do.
What doesn’t the $3,650 a month include?
The fee covers the platform. A few things sit on top:
- Card fees. With Shopify Payments, Plus charges 2.15% + 30¢ on standard cards online, and 3.15% + 30¢ on Amex and international cards.
- Another 0.2% on every order if you use a different payment provider.
- Apps. Shopify doesn’t publish a typical app bill for B2B stores, so price the ones you’d need.
- Setup and custom work. Folio3, a Shopify development agency, says Plus covers the core B2B features, that custom apps fill gaps like quote workflows, and that it quotes after a discovery phase.
Wholesale orders are big, so card fees add up quickly:
| Order paid online by card | Standard card (2.15% + 30¢) | Amex or international (3.15% + 30¢) |
|---|---|---|
| $500 | $11.05 | $16.05 |
| $2,000 | $43.30 | $63.30 |
| $5,000 | $107.80 | $157.80 |
How does Shopify Plus compare with Syndicate?
If per-account prices are why you’re looking at Plus, compare the monthly numbers. Plus is $3,650 CAD a month for a store you don’t own. A Syndicate store starts at 500 CAD a month in financing, for a store you do, paid off after a year (for most wholesalers; very large or complex catalogues get a custom quote). Syndicate’s team provides expertise specifically for fashion and eCommerce. We build your wholesale store for you, with each account’s prices included, plus research on up to 100 wholesale buyer leads.
| What you get | Shopify Plus | Syndicate |
|---|---|---|
| How you pay | $3,650 CAD a month on a 1-year term ($43,800 a year) | Financing from 500 CAD a month over one year |
| Each account sees its own prices | Yes | Yes, included in the build |
| Who builds it | You, or a Shopify partner you hire | Syndicate’s team, with expertise in fashion and eCommerce |
| Who owns the store | You subscribe to Shopify’s platform | You own the domain, hosting, files and every login |
| After the first year | The subscription continues at $3,650 a month | Paid off. Optional care plan for maintenance and support, from 500 CAD a month, no contract |
| Card fees | 2.15% + 30¢ online through Shopify Payments | Your payment provider’s fees |
Plus does have real advantages. You can start setting it up yourself today, and it comes with unlimited staff accounts, expansion stores and Shopify’s priority support. With Syndicate, there’s nothing to set up yourself: we build the store, in as little as 7 to 10 days once we have the information we need from you.
Your current buyers don’t have to change anything either way. If they like ordering from your PDF or by email, they can keep doing that. The store just makes things easier over time, and gives new buyers, whether from our lead research or your own search and social traffic, somewhere to find you.
You might have a few doubts at this point. Maybe you’ve never heard of us. Maybe you’ve seen a buyer portal nobody logged into. Or maybe you’re wary of an agency that disappears, or locks you into its platform. Those are fair, and each has an answer. You own the store, the domain and every login. It runs alongside your PDF and email ordering, so no buyer has to switch. And every lead is vetted: we confirm it’s an active business, provide contact details, and set up their account on your store with you.
How does Shopify Plus compare with JOOR?
JOOR’s pricing page (checked September 27, 2026) lists three plans but no prices; each one says “Request Pricing.” When we asked in September 2026, JOOR quoted us approximately $10,000 USD a year. We don’t know which plan that covers, so don’t read it as the price of every JOOR plan.
JOOR’s case is mostly about buyers. Its pricing page says it takes no commission on orders, includes setup, doesn’t require exclusivity, and gives Pro and Enterprise customers a dedicated client success manager. It also puts its network at more than 14,000 brands and 700,000 buyers. A Shopify store, on the other hand, starts with the buyers you already have. A Syndicate store comes with research on up to 100 wholesale buyer leads, so you’re not waiting to be found. We’ve put JOOR, Faire, Shopify and Syndicate side by side on the same year of orders.
When is Shopify Plus worth $3,650 a month?
When you’ll use what only Plus does. For a fashion brand, that usually means per-account prices, deposits or partial payments on orders, or a team bigger than the 15 staff accounts on Advanced.
Lower card fees alone rarely justify it. Plus saves 0.25 points on standard online cards compared with Advanced. You’d need about $1.3 million a month in card sales before that covers the $3,261 monthly difference. Even Folio3, which builds B2B stores on Plus, answers its own question about whether you need Plus for serious B2B with “Not necessarily.”
What changed in 2026, and where can you check it?
On April 2, 2026, Shopify’s changelog announced B2B features on the Basic, Grow and Advanced plans, including up to three active catalogs, company profiles, payment terms and volume pricing. Per-account catalogs, unlimited catalogs, deposits and partial payments stayed on Plus.
Not every guide has caught up. Skailama’s Shopify Plus pricing guide, published April 16, 2026, still lists B2B as Plus-only. If a guide says B2B means Plus, check its date.
We checked these prices on Shopify’s and JOOR’s own pages in September 2026. They change without notice, so double-check the linked pages before you sign anything.
