Only if every account has its own prices. That takes Shopify Plus, at $3,650 CAD a month. Shopify B2B without Plus still gives you company accounts, net terms, volume pricing and up to three shared price lists, on plans from $37 a month, per Shopify’s Help Center (September 2026).
Syndicate builds wholesale fashion suppliers and distributors their own online stores, so we have a stake in what you choose. Everything about Shopify below comes from Shopify’s own pages.
What does “three catalogs” mean for a fashion brand?
Think about how you send prices today. Maybe it’s one PDF for independents, one for key accounts and one for distributors. Maybe it’s price lists in a platform like Brandboom. Either way, each of those is what Shopify calls a catalog: a set of products with prices attached.
Without Plus, you get up to three of them, and they’re shared by groups of buyers that Shopify calls markets. Shopify’s guide to B2B markets describes them as a way to give each group its own pricing and products. Every account in a group sees the same prices. If one boutique has a deal nobody else gets, it needs a price list of its own, and three run out fast.
What can you do on Shopify B2B without Plus?
Quite a lot. Shopify lists all of this on every plan:
| What you need | Shopify Plus ($3,650/month) | Basic, Grow, Advanced |
|---|---|---|
| Company accounts with several locations | Yes | Yes |
| Price lists | Unlimited | Up to 3, shared by group |
| Prices for one specific account | Yes | No |
| Deposits and partial payments | Yes | No |
| Minimums, maximums and order increments | Yes | Yes |
| Quantity price breaks | Yes | Yes |
| Net payment terms | Yes | Yes |
| Easy reorders and a quick order list | Yes | Yes |
There are two catches. Shopify says the cheaper plans need its new Markets setup to use B2B catalogs. And customizing checkout and the storefront by market is only on Advanced and Plus.
How do you tell which one you need?
Count your price lists, not your accounts. Forty boutiques paying the same wholesale price are one price list.
- Prices negotiated account by account, or deposits on pre-season orders: that’s Plus, at $3,650 CAD a month on a one-year term, or $43,800 a year.
- Three price lists or fewer, and no deposits: a regular plan can do it, at $37, $99 or $389 a month on yearly billing, per Shopify’s Canadian pricing page.
That jump is where the decision gets hard: about $1,200 a year on Grow against $43,800 on Plus, often for one feature. We’ve broken down the full Plus bill in what Shopify B2B actually costs in Canada.
Is there a way to get per-account pricing without Plus?
Yes. Syndicate’s team provides expertise specifically for fashion and eCommerce. We build wholesale stores with prices set per account as part of the build, so every buyer sees their own prices without a Plus subscription. Every build also includes research on up to 100 wholesale buyer leads. Every lead is vetted: we confirm it’s an active business, provide contact details, and set up their account on your store with you.
Compare the monthly numbers: Plus is $3,650 CAD a month for a store you don’t own. A Syndicate store starts at 500 CAD a month in financing, for a store you do, paid off after a year, for most wholesalers. You own the domain and every login, and your current buyers can keep ordering however they like while the store becomes the easier option, at their own pace.
When did B2B stop being Plus-only?
On April 2, 2026. Shopify’s changelog announced that Basic, Grow and Advanced could sell wholesale with B2B features at no extra cost. Per-account prices, unlimited catalogs, deposits and partial payments stayed on Plus. Some guides still say B2B needs Plus, including Skailama’s Shopify Plus pricing guide, published two weeks after the change. Check the date on anything you read.
We checked these features and prices on Shopify’s own pages in September 2026. Shopify changes both without notice, so double-check before you pick a plan.
